Senior Accountant

Job Description

The Senior Accountant works with the Senior Accounting Manager and accounting team on all day-to-day accounting operations including functional responsibility over financial reporting, reconciliation and analysis, review support for billing from regional locations, and supporting the timely close of the general ledger. She/he will reconcile various balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis using BlackLine, support internal and external auditors as requested, and analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner. In addition, this position must communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP, participate in intercompany reconciliations, and monitor progress and changes in internal controls and process improvement.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
  • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly and year-end close in accordance with GAAP.
  • Coordinate and execute all month-end close activities based on the close schedule.
  • Accumulate and validate customer billing provided by regional billers, review revenue for proper cut-off for revenue recognition compliance, evaluate costs on various completed jobs and prepare costing entries for adjustments in accordance with accounting policy and GAAP.
  • Assist Senior Accounting Manager with profit analyses and expense reviews.
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, revenue, commission, and operating expense accruals.
  • Prepare and gather supporting documentation and explanations for monthly financial reporting, budgeting/forecast, and analysis for senior management. Interface with management in various divisions.
  • Collaborate with other finance department managers to support overall department goals and objectives.
  • Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
  • Assist with quarterly and year-end audits.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-year College Degree in Accounting
  • 5 - 7 years of professional accounting experience
  • BlackLine experience preferred
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills and independent thinker
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Job Description

This position will support the Video Department functions including inbound/outbound order processing with emphasis on teamwork while performing job duties and complying with safety standards. The position will need to be technically savvy and have general working knowledge in a warehouse environment.

Job functions include:

  • Support of Video Department and processing of inbound/outbound orders
  • Warehouse Organization/Cleanup
  • Assist with shipping and receiving of inventory purchase orders (physically and electronically)
  • Assist to ensure all orders are complete, labeled, and ready for delivery
  • Monitoring transfer orders (transfer in and out)
  • Assist with inventory control and cycle counts

Warehouse Manager

Job Description

Minimum 5 years’ experience in the AV industry required. Applicants with less will not be considered.

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the daily processing of incoming and outgoing equipment orders in the warehouse, as well as for managing the warehouse staff. A typical day for this position includes expediting orders as they are pulled (assisting when needed), responding to gear shortages and communicating shortages through the proper chains, and ensuring that warehouse staff maintains the warehouse space, keeping it clean and hazard free.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage warehouse staff
  • Maintain the facility, adhering to safety codes and inspection schedules
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
  • Manage the processing and expediting of orders
  • Manage the receiving/QC process as returning orders are received
  • Ensure order accuracy
  • Work with Inventory Control to maintain supply levels
  • Work with Logistics/Dispatcher to manage the day to day delivery/pickups of orders and trucking needs

Other Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the AV industry
  • Experience managing people
  • Experience with rental inventory software is a plus

The ONsite National Director of New Business Development is a professional Sales Manager position, whose primary objective is to solicit and manage new business accounts, as a technology provider in a hospitality environment. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key hotel and facility personnel to facilitate opportunities for a rapidly growing audio visual service and production company.
Job Responsibilities

  • Pursue meetings with decision makers of targeted hotel groups, as well as individual opportunities.
  • Demonstrate fundamental communication and networking skills.
  • Prepare and present customized, compelling and persuasive sales presentations.
